30/09/2025 23:18 - - - I forgot (or should I say, postponed) making updates in the past month. Yes, I created the Speed Demo Index in order to upload my non-DSDA demo recordings. That being said, there is a lot more to be done with it and I hope that maintaining it will become easier if I do the hard work for it first. Let's see if I get the time to work on making it fully functional & upload all the demo recordings to my YouTube channel - it's definitely much easier than uploading my Ironman runs, but even that claim is suspect due to my very shitty internet connection (watch me upload my Zone 300 Ironman demo in 2 months time, 90+ mins of footage after all!)
So Discord has finally implemented age verification law in Estonia, now it requires for you to either show your ID-Card or your face; you can guess what I did! Exactly, I just use a VPN now! I'm not giving them jack shit, even if I have to verify my login from time to time by email confirmation. What idiotic excuse will the world government use next time in order to gather personal information out of people willing to comply? Hell, things like this will turn the internet into a much more desolate wasteland it already is. I miss playing Flash games as a kid on my dad's WinXP computer (Teletubbies Mercy Killing, Playing with Fire 2, Cigarette Killer, BrowserQuest and countless other I can't remember right now sadly.) and I think I turned out to be just fine (I think??)
After my most recent Ironman demo, I'm currently grinding for a good-looking sl32 maxdemo for DOOMED Index, about 300+ attempts in so far. The penultimate fight is my favorite (when I don't get blasted by the cybies anyway) but the final fight is a fucking joke lmao. And yes, I have beaten the level before 2 days ago, but of course I didn't record a demo of it :))))))))))))))))))))
09/09/2025 23:43 - - - As it turns out, trying to fit in more hours for chess can create some problems. (in terms of time anyway.) While it has been very fullfilling and fun to learn more about it, the side effect is that free time is severely limited compared to what I used to be okay with a couple of months ago. I don't exactly regret my decision, but at the same time I feel it can hinder my social life and such. (uhhhh no shit?) So that pretty much means that I won't give as much attention to Doom as I did from a few years back to just a couple of months ago, you can probably pinpoint that time when you take a look at my blog history and how much (or should I say how little in this case) content is there. But does this mean that I will quit? Nah, I still very much love the game, infact I have something very special planned at the end of September or early October - and no, this has nothing to do with the Scythe review although it's time will come soon enough... Same thing with mapping, I really want to finish Torment Of Screams after I have invested alot of energy and ideas to it. I want to make it (close to) perfect so after it's release I could start doing demos for it, I definitely can't wait for that! :)
