A: The Speed Demo Index is aimed at collecting the fastest demo recordings for the original Doom, recorded with the original executables only.
A: This site is for people who want to see how much they could push the game torwards it's limits with vanilla client play. It can be also used to practice playing the IWAD's, seeing that the categories are unfilled now, it could lead to some nice friendly competition perhaps :D

A: I was thinking about this a little bit, but I decided against it because I want to keep the scope of this site small and simple for now. I do reccommend Doomed Speed Demos Archive for quenching that thirst.
